  I gotta tell ya........this is the most delightful REAL WORLD setup.  🤩😄 When u r at a rest area stopping to go to the bathroom and make a snack, the kitchen in the back is ideal. We have a 28 ft motor home.  We always park w the RV door parked with the best view.  Most of the time when u r travelling there r lots of places to run to the powder room during the day.  Having facilities in your rig is the whole point to having the RV life.  One day after our RV dies of old age??????....heaven forbid......I would do a double sofa bed just like u two have.  Luxury with practicality and no mangling a brand new van.  Ur advice of finishing the front and the back of the wood w sealer is spot on. The BEST van set up ever.  Two adults can chillax OR u can have 8 adults in the van on a rainy day.  Its just such an amazing van.  Brilliant!!!!!

  I love it. I think it is perfect! Straightforward simple set-ups are less headaches to deal with and never need expensive repairs. Life is much more comfortable when things are kept practical and simple like this. Some of the things that were supposed to make life more convenient and comfortable I find they often make life less enjoyable in the long run. I bet your toilet never clogs does it? I also bet you never have to pay $100/hr labor charge for a plumber either. The last time we had a plumber here it cost us $700.

  I love that you built a van with a layout that works for the two of you!  My van has a RV jacknife sofa facing the open slider door, because that's how I love to use my van & a comfortable seat was frankly as important as a bed.  Love the practicality of your van & I know you'll enjoy it for years to come.

  Really nice build!  You give options for a different layout with the two twin beds.  The fabric on the walls looks great!   Nice shoutout to Jonnie's Journey.  She's a great teacher.  So willing to help people with their builds.!

  Top Tier Video, Ben and Jen! &nbsp;As a retired electrician who snowbirds to AZ these days, leaving his travel trailer in the SKP-Benson RV Park and making that &nbsp;cross country trek in my Ford F350 &quot;Alaskan&quot; hydraulic pop-up truck camper...I, too, very much appreciate how much you really can do with small spaces. &nbsp;The trailer stays put, but the truck camper can go to BLM land, National Parks, places where often a tow rig over 20&apos; cannot go.<br><br>Ben, you must be a retired general contractor or tradesman. &nbsp;You have the most detailed, informative, item specific video on Youtube and if your channel doesn&apos;t grow exponentially, I would be very surprised. &nbsp;Safe travels...enjoy!!!...Paul
