  This makes me want to cry, I&apos;m so touched by all of the advocacy for women&apos;s mental health and psychosis. We need so much more of this in the world. So much more understanding and less judgement.

  It&apos;s basically impossible for people who have never experienced mental illness to understand. &nbsp;The brain (an extremely complex) organ can be ill.

  I experienced extreme PPD when I was 18 in the late 90s. I thought there were demons tormenting me. It took on a very religious tone. I felt an evil presence at all times. It was truly terrifying. It was also very isolating. Nobody understood what to do with me. My heart breaks for both of these women.

  These women wanted to be mothers, they had children, not just one. I grew up with a mother with psychosis and I have cried so much watching this trial. These poor women, husbands and children’s lives that were lost because the mental health system sucks. It took my mom 20 years to get the correct diagnosis and she had to go to Dr Nanda, renowned neurologist and psychiatrist. She finally got the correct medicine and has been free of episodes since. She was in and out of psychiatric hospitals for a month at the time, my whole childhood and up until I was married. She tried to jump out of the car when we were taking her to her last inpatient stay. She thought everyone was trying to kill her. I get upset seeing everyone be so hateful to these women. My mom is well now because she is on the correct medicine.

  How totally wonderful to hear this interview and Bless him for his gentleness and deep commitment. Andrea we hear you and we will do our best to educate ourselves and grow from your total devastation. Mental health should be a mandatory subject in senior schools..

  I know after one of my children was born I had no feeling, no emotional connection towards this baby. I never felt like that before. I couldn&apos;t understand why I felt this way. &nbsp;Thank God that feeling didn&apos;t last long. 🙏🙏🙏💜💚❤️
