  I went to Paarl (I live in Cape Town) last weekend and saw a  number of kids without rugby balls, take a soda bottle, fill it a bit with sand and pebbles and playing rugby with it. The soul of rugby lives in South Africa.  It was amazing to see. The younger generation won't let the lack of a rugby ball stop them from playing. It's inspirational.

  Our schools rugby system is probably the best in the world, huge derby marches attract thousands of supporters, kids play contact rugby from a very young age.. legit rugby player factories

  Just take note.. South African fans are the most supportive and emotionally invested! BUT also the most unforgiving and critical when things are at a low. I hope that while we are enjoying this high, we also take some mental notes, for when the tide turns again, and it trust me, it will turn, we can use the knowledge to maybe endure/shorten the inevitable low point
