If a producer really want to make a true life Cinderella story it would be the Deon Fourie story. He became a Springbok at an age when nost people are retired. Years of grinding it out and disappointments. He got chosen as a backup flanker and ends up playing 78 minutes of the World cup final as a hooker and ends the match as the winning captain. You cannot script this true story. Will surely be a blockbuster.

My only criticism with the whole show is how Mostert and Kriel didn't get their moment, Mosters had huge games, vs scotland, vs NZ, the tackles he put on with PSTD. And Kriel played the best rugby of his entire career, during a time everyone was worried with AM being injured.

I remember PTSD crying after beating NZ in 2018 and i realised this mountain of a man puts his heart and soul into the Springboks. What a legend.

Big Jim, our brother from across the oceans. I just love how you get us, SAs if you don’t know us, are easy to dislike. What makes it worse is we don’t really care what others think. Imperfectly perfect, chaotically organized, bragadociously humble. I have watched this series, usually through tears, but still looked forward to every one of your reviews. Don’t pass by again without stopping anywhere you want for some wine, a chat or a braai. Our favorite voice out there along with Eggchasers. Hope your lad recovers soon and the family are well.

ABs played 14 v 14 for 16 minutes in 2nd half. And seeing Deon’s shoulder injury, it’s no wonder he struggled with the throw-ins. My heart goes out to Bongi… after swallowing all that shit from English media the whole week only to get croc rolled in first few minutes.

I said it too: there's no coincidence that they've won two World Cups back to back.

Wish you would have mentioned the Bongi and Curry incident. It is heartbreaking that Bongi was made out to be a racist and swearing at another player when everyone and their dog knows Bongi is a gentleman and absolutely no racist.

Can I tell you that Deon Fourie is also the nicest guy! His journey, everything about him as a person has shot up in my books! (Coming from a South African who just shot an ad series with him). A hero!
