  Fun fact, that ATT tower behind the Office Space 'Chotchkie's' location, I actually worked in that area for a year, in 1990, and that tower was actually the main headquarters for Dell Computer.

  Wow. How weird to see the very place I used to eat lunch almost daily become a one-time movie set. The "Dairy Drum" in "Gilbert Grape" was actually "Brown's Cafe" where for many years, I had a great home cook meal for lunch.

  Walter Chang's Grocery Store was still there until a wildfire destroyed it. Dixie Boy truck stop was the last remaining set turned into a real filling station after Maximum Overdrive finished filming then burned down by a fire. When Dixie Boy was built Truckers were unaware that it was a set stopped and tried to fill up the production team wrote an article saying Dixie Boy Truck Stop is a movie set. Surviving still today is Dixie Boy Truck Depot signs.

  I grew up in Simi Valley. Spain’s ranch is not connected with  Corriganville Movie Ranch in any way. Spanh’s Ranch was on Old Santa Susanna road by the old Iverson Ranch, between Chatsworth and Simi. Corriganville was in Simi Valley the  main Entrance, back in the day(1960’s) was off of Los Angeles Ave., Santa Susanna

  I know it’s then and now, and you had to say that fast kids rocks formations are still in there in shape, but you could have mentioned that Vaska’s rocks was used extensively and repeatedly for star Trek through every iteration of the show from the 60s all the way through to current day

  Love how the cafe from Twister got mentioned! But what about Aunt Meg's house? It was sitting vacant in Wakita, Oklahoma, after a hailstorm a few years prior, and they refurbished the house for Twister before destroying it (along with other homes in the town).
