  I know there are disconnects on the batteries. But every time you connect to the battery first, and then snake the other end through the raceway into the inverter, god kills a puppy. A really really cute puppy.

  Great job, very neat as always. Two years ago I would have purchased the 12000xp instead of the 18 Kpv if it were an option. I am Off-Grid and do not need the grid tied function. That said, the EG4 18 Kpv is awesome and works perfect.

  Incredibly helpful. I&apos;ve watched a few of your videos now, on my journey of exploration in planning a back-up system for my home. Your &apos;style&apos; is very easy on the eyes and ears and you cover a lot of detail. I was particularly interested in when you did the &apos;full home&apos; load test. Mine would actually be similar and considering a 10kW Inverter, which are not much more cost than a 6kW (e.g. RuiXu - although I fear their 10kW is being discontinued). Your installation process coverage is meticulous (and looks fabulous!) - I think it is perfectly aimed at novices (like me!!) - the only thing you might have stressed is that when hooking up multiple batteries in parallel, to be sure that they are already pre-charged to 100%. (How did you achieve that incidentally?)

  Just upgraded to the 12000xp V2 from a 6000xp really like this new inverter. No more flickering lights, and noticed my battery last longer then it did with the 6000xp overnight. Not surprised since the V2 is their newest inverter probably re-engineered design to fix these flickering issues and more efficient.

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmWD59CLF6A&amp;t=375">6:15</a>, Adding a small zip tie near the end of the bare conductor, before removing the pre-stripped insulation, will help maintain its shape for the ferrule insertion.
