I just wanted to say I picked one of these up and they have fixed quite a few of your complaints in the firmware! The speed like you’ve mentioned in the comments is a lot faster now and the power light is no longer used as a light house. Thanks for the awesome review as always!

Great video as usual...I actually find myself checking YouTube every day hoping to find a new video...really love the repairs...you make them look easy which is a bit deceiving because when I get a broken device I go in to it thinking easy-peazy until I actually start probing around !! You are definitely good at your craft !

I had a piece of equipment that also had an "eye searing" LED and I thought about playing around with the current limiting of the LED but found a much more elegant solution - I put a small piece of good old masking tape behind the front panel and in front of the LED; the tape attenuated the brightness to a comfortable level and no circuit surgery was needed.

Very nice video, you always do a great job. A little while back I got a Keysight 34461A and I was a bit surprised how their front panel layouts are almost the same.
