Soo sad, Gowon was surrounding by Corroupted Governors, Generals, Commisonners and chief public administrators,local council cities. All of them ambitios to become millionares.

Imagine what was going through Gowon’s mind when the man came over to whisper a coup had happened in Nigeria; one of those rare moments in history caught on camera where you’re watching the man for his reaction. We would also see something similar when George Bush was informed at the kids’ school that planes had flown into the World Trade Center. That clip is all about his reaction and trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy in a moment when the country would never be the same again.
