My theory now is this, we now understand how much we don’t know at a time when we have all the information but no truth. Even the uneducated know how much we are and have been lied to.

What is wrong now is that people in general have realized that we aren't valued any more. Our government doesn't value us, our employers don't value us, and we are angry as hell.

The emergence of the middle class was an economic construct. It didn’t happen organically. The political right decided to deconstruct it in the pursuit of cheap goods and more wealth for the rich. Much of the ills of western society, especially in the US, can be traced back to that.

I wonder if the apparent humility is shown because that was expected and idealised. I.see real humility in a person when they listen and reflect on criticism.

One could argue that James Talarico is an example of the beginning of the shift in our culture. Talarico focus appears to be acting in a manner the Christian gospels require, love your neighbor. ’m not a Christian but I believe that loving your neighbor is a basic principle that is necessary if humans will continue to thrive on earth.

Like i reminded a manager at work today there’s more than one person to a contract. The first trust that was broken was between Government and citizens followed by businesses and employees and then between parents and children. So don’t talk to me about trust.
