  The Church has always had problems with women. She was one of the apostles and one of the most important.  the Bible is corrupted by men of that time.  Everyone knows it. Religion in general is just to gain power over people.  Also something we know.  The Church itself is the most corrupt organ in history that wanted to cover up thousand of abuse of children by their members and other dirty secrets.  Also something we know.

  According to Laurence Gardner's book 'The Magdalene Legacy', Mary Magdalene was the daughter of Syro (Syrus), Chief Priest (subordinate to the High Priest in Jerusalem). He was also a royal, as was Jesus. 'Marys' were actual titles, as were 'Marthas', and 'Magdalene' refers to a 'Watchtower'. She married Jesus (at Cana) and they had three children; the first was a girl. The truth was hidden by the 'Christian' bishops in the 6th century AD, who wanted the religion to be male-only.

  According to Barbara Thiering's interpretation of the New Testament, using the pesher technique, Mary Magdalene was a zealot, and she refused to follow Jesus out of Israel after the crucifixion. So Jesus divorced her and left Israel without her.

  Mary Magdalene was the youngest of three sisters of Lazarus, who was the close friend of Jesus, whom Jesus called back into this life after having been dead for three days.<br><br>According to extatic visionist testimony (Therese Neumann of Konnersreuth, Bavaria, Germany between 1926 and 1962)<br>Lazarus and his three sisters were of arabian descent (according to their clothings) and they were a very rich family.<br>The youngest sister Mary demanded her heritage from her brother Lazarus, who gave her a castle in the town Magdala on the south-western shore of the Sea of Genezareth.<br>That&apos;s where her name derives from:<br>Mary Magdalene.<br><br>She was a very vivid person and celebrated many &quot;parties&quot; in that castle and was known as a young and &quot;rather light-minded&quot; person.<br><br>The parable Jesus told about the two brothers, one of them demanding his heritage from his father and spending everything, almost sharing the food with the pigs, before deciding to return to his father, possibly had Lazarus&apos; youngest sister as &quot;raw-model&quot;.<br><br>Jesus also saved Mary Magdalene from being &quot;stoned&quot; by the mob for adultery.<br><br>Mary Magdalene therefore certainly was not the person to become the wife of the Son of God.<br>Jesus cast out 7 demons from her. Not really a suitable candidate for a bride of the Son of God.<br><br>Therefore these speculations lack information and are rather silly to even consider any such context as being the &quot;wife&quot; of the Son of God.<br><br>Also those speculations about Jesus having survived the cross are rubbish and nonsense-speculation.
