In assamese,

"Hanhor uporot khiyal roja"
means- Fox is king over the ducks

"Thik tenekoi"
means- just like that

"Puta pukhurir uporot bak roja"
(Written incorrectly)
means- baak is king over the ponds

There are many ghosts in existence. Bira, jokhini, dahini, etc etc. My mother's father, and his father, had 3 dahini's. People, very old in their 80's, still tell his stories.

It sounds like unimaginable for those who never encountered any type of Ghost and spirt. Because in cities we rarely see a case.
But in villages you can hear stories commonly.
I've heard many stories in my village and even encountered experience in my life but I'm lucky not to see anything directly in front of my eyes.
For those who never experienced or had a experience remember one thing "do not frear and freez". You have to be strong and scold them not matter you have seen or not. If you feel it, shout and scold them and also spit in air. Fear is the only thing they gain advantage on.
Hope you got my point
