  Cardon asked why this isn’t taught in church. It isn’t taught because it’s still being revealed. Andrea isn’t a BYU professor or church headquarters personnel (that I know of), but she is a baptized, confirmed, and endowed member of the church using her connection to the Holy Spirit and all the research available to piece together these beautiful truths. Aren’t we all supposed to be doing that? More than the knowledge she brought to the table, she has given me such a sense of duty to do this myself. I’m a mom too, often put last in the mind of scholars in the hierarchy of the church, but it is my obligation to find these truths too and share them with my family, my ward, and maybe a wider audience too if it’s cool enough. I don’t believe we will get more scripture until we start doing these things: showing appreciation for what we already have and expanding upon it. <br><br>I’m so grateful for Andrea’s example and humility! I’m grateful that she’s more like me than most guests on the show, and that she had so much to offer. We all do. <br><br>And Cardon did amazingly well at staying on topic and helping rather than hindering the conversation. Awesome episode!

  I look forward to her book. Showing that the newest Church logo resembles a Ketubah is extremely interesting. Also, the Ketubah are designed to sometimes resemble what the tablets of Moses looked like, which ties in why the Book of Mormon, stored in the stone ark, is called the new covenant.

  Cardon, excellent questions asked. &nbsp;You want to know why this isn’t taught? Your mind was blown but, you were prepared to have your mind blown. &nbsp;I don’t think 50% of our members are prepared to have their minds blown. &nbsp;I do agree that some of this should be included in temple prep class. &nbsp;I think Andrea should start a YouTube channel and take a deeper dive into all of this including Margaret Barker’s books. I enjoyed this very much.

  Andrea is amazing. Incredible insights into doctrines and covenants. The marriage ceremony symbolism is so deep and ALL pervasive. Thank you for opening my eyes. I have just learned more about my covenant relationship with God and Christ in the past hour-ish than I have in a lot of years of personal study and reflection. Please sir, may I have MORE!!

  “Where was I before you so rudely interrupted me?” I have to agree. She is offering some wonderful insights during the entire podcast, and Cardon, to my mind, interjects comments that often take away from her momentum and the spirit of the topic. Less is more, brother. Less is more.
