  I like LaserLlama&apos;s version. Not only does it capture the essence of rangers, survivalists and guides, but I spotted the Herbalist knack, which lets you actually be Aragorn.

  Sorry for the lack of uploads this month, I had COVID and had to go to hospital - much better now though and got some really hype news coming (actually hype news, not like when creators say hype news and it&apos;s just a new product they&apos;re selling or whatever. I&apos;m really excited about the future, god it&apos;s good to be healthy again🥳🥳)

  My thing with the level 20 capstone feature is that it legitimately feels like a joke<br><br>Surely not even the most incompetent of employees could’ve suggested “the capstone level 20 feature is that a level 1 concentration spell goes from a d6 to a d10” actually thinking it was a good idea, I also don’t see how it survived play testing <br><br>It has to have been malicious right? <br><br>Like someone heard players complaining about the ranger for years and they made it worse as a bit and no one cared enough to stop them

  Lazer llama has actually cooked with this one. The problem that ranger had was not the specializations, which was cool, it was that the effects weren’t great. Having a bunch of mini feats is perfect for the vibe of a traveller that came from a particular place

  I read through Ranger in the 2024 book and I told my players they can just smash the 2014 ranger and the 2024 ranger together, keeping all the features of both, and removed the bonus action to move hunter&apos;s mark. It shouldn&apos;t require an action, it should be free.

  In addition to LaserLlama I would like to shout-out Heavyarms for making a ranger with no subclasses but instead a fully developed skill tree system.<br><br>In both cases, the solution to the Ranger having identity problems is to make it more modular like a warlock, which lets people lean into what they think a ranger is.
