  I agree, the most versatile and important bike is the San Quentin. My &nbsp;hardtail will always be my favorite. No full 29ers in my fleet tho, I think 27.5 has become underrated, I find it the most versatile, and I like playfulness more than anything.

  Grab the 150mil trail bike and do it all! My ride has 64 degree head angle combined with 6 bar rear link. Chef&apos;s Kiss. Matt Jones bringing real talk to the bicycle world. Word Matt.   I´m not less confused about what kind of bike to get, what geometry etc. But I do want a Marin one lol. You´re such a good advertiser honestly

  A DH bike will work just fine on a pump track or at the dirt jumps. It just requires a slight change to the timing of your pump.

  Awesome episode, I&apos;ve come back to bikes late into my 30&apos;s and can&apos;t agree more how difficult it is choosing the right bike.<br><br>I started on a hardtail, kona big honzo as I rode alot of bmx/jump bikes back in my youth 🤣 got it at a good price but drastically wrong in choice for trails and jumps, geometry was to upright, not slack enough ect ect, sold it for a quarter what I paid for (quickly finding out bikes have terrible resale appeal or value)<br><br>Decides to move to canyon, got a torque 5, slack, loads of travel, geometry perfect for my 6&quot;3 large build, rides like a beast down hill, and the mullet set up is so playful, only down side is now when I go to the local bike park with my kids or even go for a ride around the village it&apos;s just too much bike 😅<br><br>Now in the market for a second bike, another hardtail but learning from the canyon and my previous mistakes, something thats comfortable riding around with the kids but also something I can have a bit of fun with if I&apos;m at the bike park with them and want to hit a small jump line.

  So satisfying to watch, proud owner here of a custom SQ3 I swapped to for traveling the world and riding everything (I swapped in 3 bikes for the SQ). I did 2 years in Canada and the US, went through Europe and am now riding in Wales and this thing has done absolutely everything, in 1 day with 1 bike I rode the river dirt jumps, pump track and a full day of down hill is Whistler bike park and just doing the big stuff in the park I had a slight feeling of wanting a big bike. This thing is a weapon and I’ll never sell it haha so much appreciation for you Matt, your touches on the frame make it so good 🤙🏼 legend
