If I may correct you on that Matt, As a father of a 12 year old who is finding mentors to to follow, I couldn't be happier that you are one of those!! Today you showed every kid who was watching that you should never give up no matter how hard or how many times you fall.  We were absolutely gutted when you stacked it bud, but we were all rooting for you harder when you kept getting up.  You keep doing what you're doing Matt, you are a true inspiration!!!!!

You should be proud Matt you haven’t had a lot of practice with the release of mavrix and still performed really well 💪🏻

Big props for getting back up after those 2 crashes. Takes some serious dedication to firstly get on the course, but second to finish a race after that. <br>Keen to see you back in Aus 🇦🇺

Hi Matt, I&apos;m Charlie and I am 11 years old. I live round the corner from you in Drayton Parslow, I can see the jumps you&apos;ve made in your garden and it looks sick. My dad&apos;s given my two acres to build some bike jumps in our garden. We have diggers and I can drive a digger myself but I could do with some professional help with ideas and construction!! 🙂 Fancy helping????

You get knocked down, ya gotta get back up. Sometimes twice. Big respect Matt, good role model even when it’s not going your way.

Dude is so humble for a guy who can ride better than 99% of humans.

Yo Matt, put those crashes behind you, your still all of our biggest inspirations, and your story up to this experience makes us forget those small mess ups right away. You rule Matt, and the one person who started up my dream in pursuing the same life that you created ❤

I will echo what I also posted on your FB post: you should not feel down from this year&apos;s event. You are one of the top all-around riders in the world, ride at an elite level in several disciplines, and have accomplished so much in your career. You were up riding the hardest trail in the world, in horrible conditions, all while also launching a video game based on your passion. You&apos;re a Legend!
