I love both of them but honestly when you watch Messi it looks like he's somehow involved in every goal scored by the team.

I get what Roy says but Messi literally did the same thing, he transformed his play style. Now that Messi doesn't have great passers behind him like Xavi or Iniesta, he transformed himself from a finisher to one of the best passers in the football history all while he still scores a lots of goals.
