Random story about going to a Crumbl Cookie one day.

I gave one of the workers a $20 tip one day because she looked not a day older than 14 and I felt rlly bad. I tell her to put it in her pocket and to keep the change.

The manager hears me and demands the girl to take it out of her pocket and put it down in the tip jar in like the rudest manner you could think of.

The girl tells me they’re not allowed to take individual tips. And says the manager takes them when they close every night. When no one was looking I took my money out of the jar and never went back there again.

My sister worked for crumbl. Her managers made her cry every day when she came home from work. She was 15. I hate those people with a passion because they left her alone in a blackout without any indication she should leave. They left all the kids there. The older kids left and she didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t work for a while after because she was so scared her next boss was gonna be just as bad. Please get this comment attention i want people to know how cruel these people are.

Ex-Crumbl employee here!! I was 15 at the time, never received a lunch break, held overtime every shift, one of my last shifts I was supposed to work 7 hours and ended up working nine. we weren't supposed to have chairs in our "break room" but the labor laws of Ohio required it and anytime corporate inspected us we hid the table and chairs. Oh and we were denied bathroom breaks, one girl got to leave because she was bleeding through so bad that it went down her pant leg all because we weren't allowed to use the bathroom.

Crumbl is weird. When I walk into Crumbl, I always see minors working, but when I try to apply (as an adult), they don't hire. 🙄

Former Crumbl employee here. Those stories about unethical working conditions, overworked minors, shared tips, and management issues had also occurred at my location. My younger brother, who worked at Crumbl at the same time as me and was a high school student then, would often work around/past midnight during school days. I once asked for a break during one of my long shifts as I was feeling hypoglycemic. I was denied a break. I ended up on the floor. The both of us left Crumbl shortly afterwards.

I was supposed to work only 6 hours during one Valentine’s Day but ended up working 12-13 hours with no breaks. It was a skeleton crew (understaffing issues galore) and it was mostly minors. I didn’t want to leave them alone so I stayed behind without any compensation besides a “you’re such a trooper!” Comment by management.

Also, the amount of sugar that is put into some of their sugar cookies is astonishing horrifying. They are absolute pure diabetes at this point.

As a diabetic who has to count carbs, nutrition labels ESPECIALLY serving sizes are freakin aggravating.

I received an ad for Crumbl x Dove soap as I was watching this. Oh the irony…

not just crumbl. worked at walmart for 8 months and I got fired for waiting five minutes to clock out. worst part is that there was another person doing the same thing right next to me and she still works there. The American workforce population is being mistreated period, not just at crumbl.

Please for the love of everything, look up your state labor laws BEFORE ever agreeing to take a job. Doesn't matter how old you are. The BS about only having to follow the law in the state the company was founded in is NOT TRUE. If they do business in your state, then they have to follow the law of THAT STATE they are doing business in - which is why they are getting in trouble for minors working. (I used to be a paralegal for lawyers dealing with businesses, so I know a little about what I'm talking about here...although this isn't legal advice, just general working advice!)

I worked at a Dunkin Donuts and they gave the employees no breaks, long hours, and the boss/manager was a complete jerk. It’s not just Crumbl Cookies. You just touched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to employers mistreating employees
