I have stage 4 brain cancer, its been 2 weeks since i found that out. In 5 minutes im having surgery. This was my dads favourite song, he listened to this all the time when i was a kid, but unfortunately he died of cancer a few years ago, he listened to this song because he said it made him feel better. This may be the last song i ever listen to and this may be the last comment ill ever write, but i felt like i needed tell someone. I think i understand my dad now. Thank you to anyone who’s reading this as it may or may not be the last thing i ever right. Thank you and goodbye

My Dad is in the end stage of heart failure and he asked me to sing this at his funeral today. I'm shattered 💔😭

I'm leaving this comment here so after a month or a year when someone likes it, I get reminded of this song ❤

Damn....I hadn't heard this song for what seemed like 20 years and then this morning while working at the airport, I hear it in the rental car I was driving back to the wash facility.
I made it through first verse before completely losing it and having to compose myself before meeting with my new manager.
I lost my Dad in January 7th and this song was like a complete gut punch from out of nowhere.
After work, I decided to see if I could make it further that the first verse and nope...I had to stop it again.
I love you, Dad. I'll see you again some day.

My Lance killed himself. He jumped off a building. I remember listening to this song with him. He said he would never kill himself. Well he did and left our daughter. I hope he is in Heaven now. He had a hard life. I tried to make him see happiness but he was to far gone to see a good happy life. I will always love you Lance.

I need to let this out finally. When this came out I was in and out of jail, addicted, and homeless. Now I have a husband, home and good job. This song and “Clover Cage - Forever Frozen” are the two songs that helped me get through my depression. I just want people to know things do get better. We are in this together ❤ we not me
