John was more than a singer, he was a storyteller and was able to tap into the most human heartfelt aspirations with apparent ease and sincerity. The mark of a great artist is to transcend a song and lift people to a higher plain of understanding.

It is amazing that such a simple song performed so many years ago can reach across time and touch someone who never heard it before. You brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for appreciating one of my favorite artists.
