Saw some people correcting you at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVAKiO2Lr6Q&t=766">12:46</a> but you're not completely wrong. While the volume doesnt matter, the sound of a rocket launch is made of frequencies between 10Hz and 20kHz. At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVAKiO2Lr6Q&t=372">6:12</a> it says that the symbiotes are only affected by sounds between 4-6kHz, which lies well inside the range of a rocket launch. Also the rocket would be really loud so sound would have the correct frequency to affect the symboites while also having a much higher amplitude than the tests, therefore  causing extra stress. Basically you're right just not entirely for the right reasons.

Which is called their Hive, and they can share each others memories. basically a shit ton of computers with live connection to a singular server, continuously uploading their memories and "consciousness" to the hive, allowing other symbiotes to know and experience what you already know and have experienced, which naturally includes your general location, your plans, your thoughts and shit. Due to this, riot realizes that venom wanna stay at earth and not go back to his planet to bring in more symbiotes to complete the invasion....So he wants him dead or for him to submit to riot to get absolute authority and therefore doesn't want any resistance in his conquering of earth. especially not from venom as he'll probably fuck up his plans of using the rocket to get to his planet. EXTRA EXTREME SPOILERS AHEAD possibly riot wants venom is because he has something special inside of him(codex of some sort) that can cause the creator of the symbiotes, KNULL to go rogue again. I have not read any comics that have this info, but i do know about Knull so ill elaborate. Basically Knull is an evil bastard that created the symbiotes to fxk up other planets. he conquered almost everything he came across... Absolute dark entity. Super powerful. He'll fuck up thanos in like in the blink of an eye. So they(symbiotes) grew tired of his tyranny and shit and sealed him on their home planet of Klyntar so that he couldn't escape and cause them to do him bidding. Thus ending his rule. But, Knull CAN be released if a specific codex is used to free him now about this codex. when a symbiote bonds with a host, and if the host dies,(which eddie does in the later part of the film) the symbiote can reanimate or revive em from death, but none do this, because this creates the codex and thus earning knull's wrath as he'll sense the codex's birth and send out his other creations from inside his realm to fetch it for him. And this risks the lives of all symbiotes so none even think about it. But venom does it. he revives eddie. this creates the codex, so he's very special now. The Codex is the genetic imprint or leftover DNA from a symbiote’s bond with its host. It’s basically a living data chip inside every host, containing the blueprint for making more symbiotes. But here’s the rub: this Codex is also the key to unlocking Knull’s prison. How? Because Knull was locked away by the symbiotes themselves—the same ones who carry his Codex fragments. If enough Codexes or the “right” Codex gets gathered or activated, it can break the cosmic seal holding Knull captive. So the villains in the story (and sometimes the symbiotes themselves) want to collect or weaponize the Codex to either unleash Knull or unlock his full power. It’s like having the master key to a locked cage holding a god of darkness and destruction. But this other reason is not very probable and also probable because firstly, this happens very late in the movie after riots plans have been fucked. so nnot probably. but theres the existence of the multiverse, so riot might know that it mightve happened in some other universe due to the hive(its cracked op, as it was developed outside the multiverse by knull, so its not dependent on the multi verse rahter on the realm of knull) he might've gotten an idea that venom might attempt to revive eddie.... The biggest plot hole for this movie is that all symbiotes are a  multiversal hive mind, so riot should know exactly where venom is without issue. That's how venom knew what Spider-Man was despite existing in a world that didn't have one. He is aware of the rami venom that died.

Fun Fact: The reason symbiotes can't handle high frequency sounds is because they were made by Null using a hammer on an anvil. Being born was like hell for them
