  If I’m being honest, SPM is my favorite video game of all time. Is it perfect? No. Is it objectively better than TTYD? No. That doesn’t matter though. This game was the most amazing thing I ever experienced, and I’m glad it gets the recognition it deserves nowadays.

  I think the best indication of how easy SPM is is that I&apos;ve <i>never</i> seen the death animation before. Didn&apos;t even realize the Mario 1 pose was in it.

  Actually seeing these bosses not get shredded instantly for once actually made them feel grand enough for all the presentation that goes into them. &nbsp;And items besides healing feeling more useful and crazy pixl interactions i never seen before came in clutch

  The reveal that Fleep actually has an interesting and unique interaction with a boss was INSANE, Super Paper Mario is one of my favorite games and I didn&apos;t even know that. That&apos;s awesome

  I DIDN&apos;T KNOW YOU COULD FLIP DURING THE MR. L-BOT SHOOTER. That&apos;s wild. This game came out 17 years ago and I have played it almost every year since.

  I’m so, so happy that SPM is finally regarded as the tried-and-true third member of the OG Paper Mario trilogy. It’s well-deserved. It’s hard to say whether it’s better or worse than TTYD because it’s so different, which is perfect. We got a third PM game on-par with the second that was completely different!
