  Like I don’t think kids ever thought of Barbie as sexy. I think they thought she was cool and pretty but like I feel like this documentary is so misogynistic because women and little girls never thought of sex when they played with Barbie

  Haven&apos;t watched the entire thing yet, but I&apos;m already checking off spots on my &quot;normies-misunderstanding-doll-collecting&quot; bingo card, with Lili being referred to as a &quot;sex doll&quot; and the host&apos;s reaction to this blond convention lady&apos;s collection.<br><br> &quot;A personal collection which she enjoys at home... HOWEVER SHE DOES THAT! WOKA, WOKA, THESE CRAAAAAZAY COLLECTORZ!&quot;<br><br>Wonderful.<br><br>Edit: &quot;What&apos;s there to love about this?!?   I wish parents would complain about Wrestling Action Figures being &quot;unrealistic&quot; or Cabbage Patch Kids. What about Elmo dolls? WTF is Elmo? Nobody complains about him not representing realism...

  Dr. Ruth had a lot of nerve. She&apos;s made a whole career talking about sex but thinks it&apos;s okay to criticize a doll. At the end of the day it&apos;s the parent&apos;s job to instill self confidence into their children not Barbie.

  Watching this in 2025 in a world where there is “fat” Barbie as well as the variety of representations, I still collect/prefer the “skinny” &nbsp;Barbies. Kids aren’t stupid. They know that Barbie is a fantasy.

  I find it ironic that Mattel went overboard suing companies that dared to copy their doll model yet Mattel themselves had copied the exact model of someone else’s doll. Doesn’t Mattel owe that Lili doll company a lot of money at this point? Lol<br><br>I personally don’t care, just commenting on the irony of their vicious business tactics. I love Barbie no less.

  The little girl at the end, &nbsp;&quot;This Barbie&apos;s special I don&apos;t want anything to happen to her&quot; as she took them out from under her mattress, so sweet, &nbsp;as a collector that got to me, &nbsp;remember this episode when it came out as I was was collecting in the 90s as well, thank you for posting this
