4th Generation Gen X Texan here, and The Texas town of Cut 'N' Shoot Texas ( Were I and two of my predecessors grew up ), would be a good fit to your " Texas Most Redneck Towns ". The community ( which is located 7 miles east of Conroe , Texas ) got its name from a Theological dispute between a Methodist and Baptist camp conducting revivals on the banks of The Caney Creek river ( at the time was called 7 mile Caney ). Its a funny but accurate little story which happened around the turn of the early 20th century.
