  Howdy Alex, I am a 20+ handicapper, shoot left and sliced the ball most times. Watched a you tube video, which I now forget which one, but the grip explained on that video stopped my slice right away. In that lesson, they said that when &nbsp;you set your club ready, look down and you should be able to see two knuckles on the upper hand. I tried it and wow, worked every time. I believe with that top hand position, you lower hand grip will fall in place as you describe... Great videos, keepem&apos; coming.

  Great tips and video. My grip gradually gets stronger without me noticing until hooks start appearing. This is a great check to keep that from happening. &nbsp;Thank you!

  IVE BEEN TO THE RANGE TWICE TODAY BECUASE OF THIS, I WAS HITTING EVERYTHING STRAIGHT LEFT BECAUSE FOR THE LIFE OF ME I COULDNT STOP CLOSING THE FACE COZ OF MY GRIP, I&apos;VE USED THIS TECHNIQUE AND OUT OF 200 BALLS IVE PROBABLY HIT 2 STRAIGHTLEFT. I&apos;M AMAZED THANKS Alex!!

  Went range tonight and altered my grip exactly like this and wow. Must of hit 80% of my drives straight. Top video pal

  Good “back to basics” tip. &nbsp;The reason that grip orientation is ideal relates to the range of rotation of the ulna and radius bones in the forearms. &nbsp;The best symmetrical action in the backswing and downswing occurs when both forearms start near the middle of the range of rotation as illustrated here because the strength of the wrists control when their range of extension will max out and force the elbow of the same arm to fold, which guides the club head path.

  You just confirmed what I was trying to do today. I usually have a strong grip, especially with my driver and I decided today to leave the left hand strong but just rotate my right hand slightly more to the right like you showed with the line on the thumb. And surprisingly I hit more controlled shots in the direction I wanted to. Thanks for discussing the right hand grip because very few instructors do.
