Looks like a bike built for the swamps of Alaska or Louisiana! Great review!

Best way to describe the moonlander experience "I don't know yet."

I want one. I wish it had a tapered steer/head tube and a slacker head angle.

You got hold of one! This is the best video I've seen on the V2, I'll get one eventually, although at close to five grand (in the UK) you'd think they'd stick some better brakes on it...

Love mine! For this stock tires for winter I have a 42T chainring in the back(and front haha) but I would go even higher. For my summer tires I have surly rabbit holes rims with bulldozer 29x3.25" tires and the stock back chaingring 36T. Thats a lovely ride too.
Would love an MGU e-bike version too :D , with belt split in the frame

Great video. I am fascinated by the Moonlander, because it's SO ridiculous. I've had a Pinion bike for over a year, and yes, it takes some getting used to. Once you are used to it, it's awesome. I agree, based on the description, that lower gearing missing is a strange choice. My Pinion is the 12, and it has a LOT of low end. I don't know the technical details if it's lower than the 9. The Moonlander is crazy. It just can't be the only bike one has; but if you need it it's the ONLY bike that can do what it does. Also, if you want to see a Moonlander with "a bigger chainring on the back", look at Berm Peak. He took this from ridiculous to absolutely Ludacris.

I have a Specialized Fatike & it’s a world of fun to just twiddle along & enjoy the ride but it is lacking in the fact I am always wishing I had fatter tires to go where I want. I’m hitting a shop in my area to check on the availability of an extra large frame on Monday ! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Just picked up my Moonlander this past weekend. Total crazy intrigue buy. Have yet to ride on trail. Same feeling on what trail type to ride. Need to get back it mtb riding shape. Figure warm up trails for now.

Worry anout a flat though but kind of want winter to do a snow ride.
