  The realization of having water on your own property is almost beyond our comprehension. Those of us with indoor plumbing.... But after three summers of no water on Okinawa in 1970. I have a great respect and joy for running water. <br>I also realized that with all the work you have with more livestock and just with building your homestead those hours spent hauling water are now going to be redeemed for all the other work you have to do. <br>Maybe this next year will be more finished projects before. <br>Either way, I&apos;m so happy for you!

  When the well for the house we were building was drilled, the well company told us we would get about 5 to 6 gallons a minute. When we moved into the house we were having trouble getting water. One load of laundry and a shower, and we would run out of water. We had it checked and we were getting only 1 quart per minute. Turned out the well company forgot to fracture the well so all the water bladders were clogged. Once fractured we now can get about 8 gallons a minute.
