Anyone with the slightest interest in 80-90's pop/R&B/rock music needs to know the name Narada Michael-Walden. He was behind some of the most played songs on the radio .

Pink Cadillac captured the energy of the many highways thru the city. We used to see Aretha at festivals and in the night clubs. Detroit was her city.

I wished Narada Michael Walden had mentioned Phyllis Hyman's name when he mentioned Angela Bofill. He produced their albums back to back in the early 1980s. I still listen to Naradas solo albums. He is a very talented drummer. I call him the best hidden gem of a super music producer¹¹

I wish more people talk to him and ask him about his work with Angela Bofill! There's so little out there when it comes to Angela Bofill stories!

Narada is an incredible storyteller. I can listen to him for hours. And in finding all his recent and past interviews in the last couple of days I have. And even though I’ve heard the same story countless times, every time it’s like I’ve never heard it before. Just keeps me wanting more. That’s a gift.

Narada is a great man. The guy who played guitar on all of that album was Corrado Rustici. He is a brilliant Italian session man and mega hit producer in Europe He produced Zucchero Fornaciari and Luciano Ligabue.
