  After completing the Silus quest (without aiding him), talking to Lt Boyd again in her office (On the opposite side) gives you two more quests. One involving investigating NCR equipment going missing and one looking for a missing NCR trooper who was looking into a water shortage.

  Imagine going to the nightkin who seeks you the “wind brahmins” and your purposefully only have a single cap as you’ve stashed the rest of it at your base. He gets a single cap and you get… nothing but knowing you just ruined his plan to extort you.

  So for the defacing the monument quest, while it is only reliably doable on a first visit, it can sometimes be done later. After the first visit spawns private Kowalski, he isn't coded to hang around there, he just starts randomly wandering the wasteland. Sometimes he'll die to something, and you'll get a pop up that he's died. Other times, he just wanders. However, the moment the player shoots the monument, he starts running at the player no matter where he is in the world, and won't stop until he finds the player. So he could have wandered all the way off to Nellis or something, and he just takes his sweet time to get back.

  The brotherhoods reaction to a missing laser pistol is an under reaction for what the military does. If a gun went missing when I was in, no one would be going home until the weapon was found and someone was held responsible.

  Real-life casinos will also kick you out if you win too much at blackjack, under the assumption that you're counting cards. While card-counting is legal, the casino is legally allowed to refuse you service. Sometimes they'll tell you that you can play any other game but blackjack, sometimes they will simply bar you from the property entirely. Also, because the casinos share info on known cheaters and card-counters, getting kicked out of one essentially means you're kicked out of all of them.

  During the missing brahmin quest, the nightkin actually is invisible and you can find him standing next to a boulder at any time of day, take him out, and then complete that quest without having to wait for nighttime.

  For a little tip you can go into lonesome road at level 1 . Not too far but just enough to get a lot of items and if you have fixed EDD you can turn on the commissary and buy and sell through it !

  #10 if you sneak up to the spot above the quarry before the Sloan quest . You can fast travel up there and take out the Death claws from above a lot easier! You have to sneak up from where that hidden vault is between the mountains. I have hundreds of play throughs !

  Couple of small mods about casinos. One of them allows you to keep all of your arsenal and the other one makes casinos forget you after a couple of days, so you can go back and fleece them again and again and again. Which is pretty useless cause once the slavers start sending you those elite assassins with the expensive weaponry, you can make tons of money by selling those weapons to various merchants, namely Alexander at 188 or the gun selling girl, the ex military one, the black guy at Crimson Caravan and the robot over at Gun Runners.

  Never sided with the legion . You have to be sick to tear up a teddy bear in front of a little girl after all that to get it back
