  The most powerful use for the ammo swap glitch is using Esther to hot-key the Big Kid mini nukes and loading them into the Laser Detonator. Unlimited, fully automatic mini nuke launcher.

  My favorite glitch is pulling up and putting away the pipboy as you leave Goodsprings, if you time it right you can respec and pick skilled around 20 times and get every base stat to 100

  When i was younger, i accidentlaly did the ammo glitch with the c-finder and had a near endless supply of orbital lazers, it was certainly an event

  I feel like another worthwhile exploit worth mentioning would have been the Skilled trait glitch. If you initially pick Skilled in Doc Mitchell&apos;s house you&apos;ll get the regular 5 skill points in all your skills with the -10% XP debuff, however when leaving Goodsprings you get the Respec character pop up. If you decide to say yes to respecing your character, reset your traits and select Skilled yet again, the trait applies twice giving you 10 total extra skill points in all your skills, but you still only keep the -10% XP debuff because for some reason that doesn&apos;t stack. I believe this works with Good Natured and all the other traits related to extra skill point allocation, but I&apos;m not 100% sure about that one

  If you haven’t already taken Mr houses quest if you have 50 in barter just keep bartering with him over the chip and then refuse and repeat the process for unlimited XP

  One now sadly patched Infinite XP glitch I abused for my run for the Hardcore mode trophy was talking to Dr. Ignacio Rivas during the “That Lucky Old Sun” quest. Not only would you get +350XP for telling him if you had selected the option on the mainframe that he wanted, but also either some stimpaks, or more crucially for HC mode, Doctor’s Bags. With an infinite number of uses of that check you could stock up on tons of both.

  Can confirm as of october 2025 the infinite caps/chips glitch works. Just beware that your dropped stash of chips can fall thru the floor, or at least it did for me the first time. Just save right before you drop them out of your inventory. And the best part is that you can blow all your newly acquired caps, and keep going back to exhange your chips
