  It's so good that he waits for the right moment when he speaks, his gestures, his eyebrows raise and lower while speaking

  I love the fact that he is never rude, but you can tell from the facial expressions and tone he's not pleased AT ALL. Reminds me the way Bowie used to deal with stupid questions/journalists. Anyway, thank you so much for uploading!

  The interviewer may seem like an a-hole now but in those days, electronic bands were scrutinized for breaking away from the rock mold. Rock then had a stronghold of macho chauvinists, and when bands challenged image and that sound, they were often treated condescendingly. That&apos;s why 101 is such a huge deal with Depeche Mode reaching the ultimate pinnacle: The Rose Bowl. It was amazing.
