Johnny Depps first scene is one of the best characters introductions ever.

Jack Sparrow was written as a Disney hero type but Johnny wanted him portrayed the way it ended up being, angering Disney. But it turned out that Johnny's way blew up the franchise in such an iconic way and Disney execs had to eat their words for almost firing him before production began.❤

The dock keeper used the last name Smith for Jack Sparrow because that is the most common name in England. It makes the name more believable, at the same time making it not believable.🤣

Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom came dangerously close to reaching Brandon Fraser and Rachel Weisz from The Mummy levels of attractiveness in this movie.

Those of us who have been fans of Johnny Depp since "A Nightmare on Elm Street" 1984, know that the public tried to destroy his legacy. Not happening here. He's brilliant!!! I love and respect this man and his skill as an Artist forever! Definitely in my top five greatest Actos of all times. He is also beautiful!

Johnny Depp was and IS the only actor who can effectively give Captain Jack Sparrow his piratey swagger. Change my mind.

This franchise has THE BEST SOUNDTRACK! Only one that comes close is the original Star Wars.

My favorite part is the dialogue before, during, and after Ms. Turner finds out about the ghost story.
