Dalton back in the day was dismissed as a mediocre 2 time bond, now in contemporary times he is considered almost the best, if not the best! IMHO the best!! Long live the 80s 😢

I really liked Dalton as Bond and was disappointed when he didn’t do any more.

I feel like I don't say it enough, Timothy Dalton is the perfect Bond for me. Nobody has come close before or since to me.

Dalton and Lazenby arguably are the only Bonds without a bad movie

I met Timothy Dalton opening day of Licence To Kill at the National Theatre in Westwood (Los Angeles). I told him " You Are The Best Actor Ever To Play The Part"<br><br>Today, nearly 37 years later my opinion stays the same, and will most likely stay the same forever. No other actor has come closer to capturing the essence of the character Ian Fleming created in his novels.<br><br>It was one of greatest injustices that led to the delays and eventual cancellation of his Third Bond Film.

Yes indeed, the actor playing Felix was the first and only actor in the pre-Craig era to play Felix twice, the first time being Live and Let Die.

This is the pinnacle for me ❤ The story is nothing short of magical, perfect late 80s cartel mayhem and Bond going alone, fantastic soundtrack, Tim Dalton has unbelievable presence and unique vibe. I remember this coming out in 89 and getting to see it... ❤ 80s forever!!!

With Timothy Dalton, they tried to Americanize the character of James Bond because in the 80s, the dominant action movies were the ones with the indestructible and destructive heroes like Rambo, John McClane Terminator. The problem with Dalton's James Bond is that he lacks that British refinement and goes more to the physical and brute force and that's why his portrayal suffered controversy despite he made two great movies.
