🌟 To better understand which ingredients you should avoid and which products are right for you, I highly recommend reading this in-depth article for Malassezia and other fungal acne skin conditions.
https://simpleskincarescience.com/pityrosporum-folliculitis-treatment-malassezia-cure

Most skin issues have inner causes like stress/negative emotions or bad diet/gut issues (vitamine & mineral deficiency). Thats why most people develop skin issues over time and they not born with it.....

My seborrhoeic dermatitis has gone 90% away after I started supplementing vitamin D. This was entirely unexpected. It is a very very cheap supplement with many benefits, so it's at least worth a try!

for people who cant afford or dont trust creams - try cutting all sugars and all grains out of your diet and see if your skin clears up after a month or two. basically a meat & vegetable diet.

My symptoms started about 38 years old as some dry skin on one side of my nose. Over the years it slowly started on the other. Dry skin, flaking, and itchy skin mostly. I then noticed I started to get dandruff in my late 40's. I tired various shampoos and creams but didn't really get relief until I got a prescription for a Ketoconozole 2% cream for my face and same shampoo for the scalp. I would get flare ups 3 to 4 times a year but it would disappear after 3-4 days of using the creams. About 3 years ago upon learning and implementing a low carb diet, I no longer had any dandruff and haven't used the shampoo for a long time. My face would go 8-12 months without any sign. Recently I had a flare up on my face after about a year (I'm 59 now). I had to use the cream and it did work but it wasn't going away. I had been eating a lot more carbs over the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and new years so I started to lower my carbs considerably and cut out alcohol and it went away. During this whole time the dandruff never was an issue. Hope this helps somebody as this condition sucks. Aloha!

I use to have THE worst case of this under my nose. I started eating clean and it went away. Sugar fuels it.

Video is legit. Do the p-zinc (head and shoulders). Let that sit on your face for about 10 min. Try not to drink alcohol and try not to consume simple carbs like sugar (candy). If you do those few things, the seb. Derm will lesson over time.

This dude knows what he is talking about.

So, for years I was using corticosteroid creams on my face to treat the plaques, but at some point, I realized it wasn’t doing me any good long-term. I decided to try more natural stuff, and now I’m managing my flare-ups pretty easily with simple products.

What works for me:

Be careful with baking soda because it’s alkaline and can mess up your skin’s pH if you overdo it. I dissolve a teaspoon in warm water, dab it on the plaques with a cotton swab, leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off and apply coconut oil.
⚠️ Important: Don’t use it every day! Better to use it every 48-72 hours depending on how bad your flare-ups are, and make sure you see how your skin reacts the first day before using it often.

Coconut oil is super moisturizing and anti-inflammatory. If you’ve got oily skin, you could try olive oil instead.

For my scalp, I use pharmacy shampoos made specifically for psoriasis and dermatitis.

I also changed my diet and started taking marine lecithin supplements to help prevent flare-ups.

⚠️ Very important: What works for me might not work for everyone. You’re responsible for your own health, so definitely check with a professional before trying anything new, especially if your skin is sensitive. I don’t want anyone having a bad reaction to something just because it worked for me.

Also, I know that in America, meds and doctors can get expensive, so I wanted to share this in case it helps anyone out there. Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes, and sending greetings from France!
