  I have a trick/tip for this. I put about 2 tablespoons of water in a plastic cup then add my Nizoral shampoo and swirl it until the Nizoral has “dissolved.” Then I pour this on my scalp and wait 20 minutes before showering. This gives the Nizoral time to work. <br><br>If I use Nizoral only after I get in the shower I know I won’t stand there long enough for it to work on my scalp.

  I’ve suffered from moderate to severe plaques &amp; flakes. Seen different dermatologists and it took 2 years to be diagnosed correctly to be Psoriasis. Skyrizi is the only meds that worked. I managed my plaques and flakes by using Vichy Dercos Dandruff System. &nbsp;Their Salicylic Acid Serum is the superstar for me.I put the serum on my scalp and leave it over night then wash it off with their Shampoo &amp; Conditioner. I have color treated hair and doesn’t dry up my hair length with proper amount of conditioner. So happy that it’s under control this summer where it becomes symptomatic . I use regular Cerave &nbsp;hydrating hair system in between. I love that both can be used on color treated hair and contains ceramides for scalp health❤

  Remedy just released a dandruff shampoo with salicylic acid, ketoconazole, niacinamide and more. It’s good stuff.

  You mentioned if you have dandruff to wash your daily or increase washing more frequently, what about for afro hair types? - that the hair strands get dry quickly, tangle easily and break

  The Neutrogena T-Gel is one of the few that&apos;s worked for me. I definitely have to alternate it with the Clobetasol my dermatologist prescribed for me. I wish I could just use OTC for my shampoo, but it&apos;s just not enough. I have seborrheic dermatitis with red, itchy skin and very little flaking.
