  Thanks for the respectful review of Australia and its rich motor racing history. I grew up with the Holden vs. Ford rivalry with my personal hero being Peter Brock (RIP). I met him several times in my 58 years. I actually owned his 1972 GTR-XU1 Torana. It was a rare Bathurst model. One day I took it to a dealership event in 1993 and he was the guest of honor. I stood in line to get an autograph and said to Peter that I had his 1972 courtesy car from Holden with me. He dropped everything and ran out to the car with a large crowd around it. Popped the bonnet and he checked the VIN and let out a colorful exclamation 😅. I said do you want to drive it again and he was in the driver’s seat in a flash. So I drove with my hero for about 25 minutes down the South Eastern Freeway. I can’t tell you how thrilled he was. Anyway, I miss him very much indeed.<br><br>Bathurst is the greatest racetrack in the world. Period.

  Thank you, so respectful. I&apos;m an Aussie, not big into motor sport but Bathurst is Australian. It is who we are. Thats the place it holds. On a family vacation my 11 year old son couldn&apos;t believe we drove around Bathurst. It was a 100 km diversion to get there but as a father such great memories.

  Ive enjoyed the show for many yrs.... Often thinking &quot;Their attention to detail borders OCD.... and i love it!&quot; Often wondering how &quot;our cars, and our tracks&quot; would &apos;affect&apos; you! &nbsp; That clip was exactly what id hoped for... My dad and i shared moments like the both of you.... and its great to see.... Enjoy them... they really are a gift... And as a motorsport loving aussie, im stoked u immersed yourself just enough to be &apos;bitten by the bathurst bug&apos; so much so, that travelling half way around the world wont stop u from returning....
