  I can’t believe rats’ boggling and bruxing wasn’t brought up. When rats are happy they chatter their teeth (bruxing) and if they’re very happy they brux so much it causes their eyes to pop in and out of their heads (boggling)! It looks really freaky at first but quickly became super endearing, nothing made me happier than to see my two rats snuggled up with their eyes going boioioioioinioing 💙

  My biggest issue with pet rats is this, they don&apos;t live long enough and they are the most lovable little guys you can think of. Worst combo ever.

  I can&apos;t believe rats have the capacity to be racist, and the capacity to unlearn racism. They can develop fetishes. They might have their own language. We taught them how to drive little cars and play video games. &nbsp;After a certain point, aren&apos;t they just tiny people? What&apos;s the difference? We even put little pants on them.

  The idea of David Lynch brightening up and getting excited when the interviewer mentioned owning a pet rat is very unexpectedly wholesome for someone as mysterious as David Lynch. May he rest in peace.

  Absolutely delightful segment as someone who loves rats, i find it so ridiculous how such a tiny creature can be so inherently funny and lovely, they&apos;re like chaotic tiny dogs
