Insurgence i played when its first version came out, likewise tried a new run whenever updates dropped, and it always shocks me how many years it has been since its completion. Really enjoyed watching this and listening to your journey with Insurgence

I think the reason why the AI seemingly goes for random moves is because it doesn't care HOW it kills. Let me explain:
So let's say the AI saw that both Fire Blast and Sludge Bomb got the kill due to your mon being low, it would pick one at random since it sees that both are killing rolls.

Quite impressive. It’s nice to see one of the older fan games get a dedicated nuzlocke vid. even if it wasn’t a 100% hyper-optimized run, that’s still cool. I do feel that trading away dead mons to get new encounters is a bit against the spirit of the challenge, but your storytelling was on point. Some more audio volume adjustment would def go a long way tho.

I'd LOVE to see more nuzlockes of the fangames. Most youtubers only ever do romhacks at most. I always thought pokemon reborn would have been absolutely nuts to nuzlocke. The audio mixing was pretty rough though, a few spots where the music got way too loud or the voice over was talking about stuff the footage hadn't actually caught up to. Looks lke you're pretty new to this stuff though so I'm sure it'll get ironed out with more vidoes!

What a wonderfully crafted video you have here, and on one of the most notorious fangames to ever come out of the series. Your motivation, planning (especially with custom stats and limited documentation) and most of all Storytelling and writing made this a joy to watch. As someone who was obsessed with this game at a young age, I resonate heavily with not only getting to hear this story retold but also seeing such a challenge go so far. I hope you decide to keep making videos if that is your wish because through more practice in editing, you have potential. Thanks again for sharing your adventure with us.
