  It is so great to see Polyface producing high end video courses. Joel started the modern regenerative movement in 1995 with Pastured Poultry Profit$. There are so many imitators. Joel, Daniel and the whole Salatin family are the REAL DEAL.

  Oh yeah! 🐓🐇 Watched the “original” Salatin video on this a few years ago.  I’ve adapted to my smaller property.  I have 5 hanging rabbit cages in my chicken run.  Rabbits have roof everhead and ventilation all around them.  My hens scratch under the cages each morning before being released to free range in the yard.  My adaptation is to rake up the timothy hay & droppings/urine and bring that out into a minor “chicken play pile” every few weeks.  This minimizes the work for dainty doily me while creating a nice mini-compost pile for the hens.  They turn the compost and I rake it back into a pile and spray with water.  Lots of worms & larvae.  I shovel the mixture into my garden beds when it seems “done” to my eyes/nose. THANK YOU for teaching this to me.  The resulting compost is amazing stuff.

  Discovered your Polyface farm video on VHS at my local library back in 2009.  It blew our minds and changed our lives. We wore that VHS out we watched it so many times. Me and my brother will never look at farming the same way again and still practiced what we learned.

  Wild rabbits used to get into boxing matches in my front yard. I’d watch them from my sofa. It was so funny.

  I have been doing this very thing for 3yrs, in Texas extreme heat, TAMUK rabbits.  This has made a tremendous improvement in my garden soil and fruit tree production.  The soil all around my home, a little over a quarter of an acre, has changed for the better.  You can’t buy any compost to it compare with.  It’s a win win!  You get organic meat and eggs plus fertile soil to grow more produce…to then feed yourselves and your animals.  You don’t have to have a huge farm to do this.  Just get land without the hoa rulers!

  running this exact setup for two years now. chickens under the rabbit hutches handle all the manure cleanup and you get better compost out of it too. only thing i'$ add is make sure your rabbits are high enough off the ground or the chickens will stress them out pecking at the cage floors.

  This is how I've raised my rabbits and chickens for literally decades. It works. Since my 'racken' (that's a term I haven't used for decades, but I like it) run is in the center of my garden, using that compost is easy and convenient. Great video!

  We have been running this system for about 5 years and are big fans. We use garden cuttings for bedding. We get about 75 wheel barrows of quality compost twice a year from 20 square meters

  Alternatively you could do a pairing of rabbit and chicken tractors to give the rabbits the opportunity to graze. Males get along great, it is really just females that fight
