  I remember when AI was used in research labs for gene sequencing and now it&apos;s just used to generate slop. As &nbsp;a researcher it is quite sad to see what corporations have done to it<br>Edit: the breakthroughs in AI have been done in universities by PhD students and researchers not by these large corporations. Please stop defending them
