I went 3 days to dubai 2025 at the end of october for a job for a restaurant that was about to open with my hotel and tickets paid, and am very grateful to the people who hired me, but i will never forget the absolute arrogance and 0 empathy of the people that stayed in that hotel and others when i walked around dubai , the poor territory of dubai by the way has people eating from the ground its like a third world country and then there are the high class territories. Last day before i left i was drinking my coffee at the reception and some random middle eastern guy around 35 sat near me and told me i have very nice beard and if i wanted to go up to his hotel room for a trim , i just said i dont need a trim and he got visibly angry. I can't imagine what people who are depended on them for their income are made to go through. Absolute shithole
