  Finally watched this and loved it. One of your best yet. A really heartwarming and passionate look into the show and how far it’s come from its shaky, early internet roots. Great stuff.

  I'm really enjoying this video so far. Something I'd like to point out that nobody talks about: while it has all the same pitfalls that the rest of ancient DB suffers from (uber-fast rundowns, thin if not abstract reasoning, dated visuals), Vegeta VS Shadow was actually a signifcant step forward for the series, for one major reason: it was the 1st fight to actually have a script proper. Actual setup, characters interacting with one another with original dialogue, PROFESSIONAL VOICE ACTORS, and in my opinion it's actually still decently funny to this day. Also, considering the spartan means he was working with, Ben was actually a more talented animator than he was ever given credit for.

  This video is basicity all I want to say when I tell someone I love Death Battle. <br><br>I want them to understand I love not just the fight, but the story, the analysis, the explanation, the culture, the debate, &amp; the crew that works so hard to give us this show still. <br><br>Death Battle is one of my favourite things ever, but saying that to someone who doesn’t already understand the show can result in sas or them having a misunderstanding just by hearing the shows name. <br><br>It has told some of the best most heartfelt stories, from joy, to sorrow, from triumph, to crushing defeat. Especially now; where they try to treat each character with as much respect as possible. It can lead to a fight between villains being more nuanced, &amp; battles between heroes centring on a semi-realistic divide.

  ok so harley quinn losing to jinx was weird because she&apos;s way smarter and had fought starro and superman and batman and so many other characters that jinx can&apos;t really contend to in her lore.
