  It’s summer here in NYC. I am getting, at 55, more compliments from everyone than I have ever in my life. Not that I need the validation but I have no intention of giving up my weight training and appreciate the encouragement.

  ...I&apos;m just a humble manga-reader that works out as a necessity for my job, but I can definitely say that I understand why the characters in the stories look so calm outside of their fights.<br><br>Their physique and stature speaks LEAGUES for them before they even say a word, and--more importantly--they&apos;ve got other things to worry about. It took me some time after years of exercise to finally realize that point.<br><br>Your fitness really does define a lot about you before others talk to you. It shows that you&apos;re goal-driven and focused, and folks definitely admire that, no matter what you do.<br><br>...The only thing that pains my heart is realizing that...well...people make choices. <br><br>My only hope is that everyone I&apos;m fortunate enough to spend time with will be inspired to do better for themselves, steps at a time and appreciate their own progress in self-discovery and discipline. 🙂‍↕️🙏

  First impressions matter, yes. &nbsp;But... I fell in love with a coworker. &nbsp;She liked me a little and there was friendly banter and flirting, but it was... meh, from her.<br><br>I decided to utilize the Lean is Law recipe and got down to 12% body fat with lots of visible muscle.<br><br>Now? &nbsp;She is in love with me! &nbsp;I am so happy!<br><br>My point:<br>Even if people have a neutral or worse, a negative impression of you, you can change. &nbsp;And then the past does not matter.
