My mother was a Drill Instructor and she told me that I should join the Air Force. I decided to talk to the Marines to at least hear them out. Told the recruiter I wanted to pursue a career in National Intelligence and without missing a beat, he told me that they don't really have the best jobs for Intel. He saw that I had just graduated college and walked me over to the Air Force. While I'm going into the Air Force, I can't deny that the Marines were the most honest and sincere branch I got the chance to speak to and I will always respect anyone who chooses to become one!

The Air Force saved my life. Growing up in NYC my life was a wreck. I was in a bad place & on a fast track to lock up or worse. Enlisting at a moments notice & leaving bad things behind. Left NYC & never looked or went back. Gave my country 23 yrs of service with no regrets. God bless service members of every branch & God bless America. 🇺🇸🇵🇷🇺🇸🇵🇷

Retired Veteran

My USMC son and his friends were sitting around, dogging the Air Force. A year later when he returned from Afghanistan his whole opinion had changed. The Air Force rescued his Unit from certain death when they were pinned down by enemy fire. They took cover in some Russian wreckage. My son said those incoming Air Force jets looked like angels swooping down to the rescue.

In 1970, I went down to join the Air Force to avoid being drafted into the Army. Aif Force recruited was closed. So I went next door and joined the Navy stayed 8 years.

Retired Air Force colonel.. I have two sons in the Marine Corps. My advice whatever branch you decide: find out the final PT score required to graduate boot camp and be able to accomplish it BEFORE you go. That's one less stress point you'll have to worry about,

The army LITERALLY saved my life. Im not old, only 16, but ive always been overweight. Never had a purpose in life. At my heaviest i was 285 at 5'11. A few months ago, I watched a video about the rangers and i was immediately in love. Since that day, ive been doing LOTS of calisthenics, recently started rucking, and im losing quite a bit of weight (down 30 pounds right now and not slowing down). Ive got a year and a half left to get my shit together before i enlist, which i most definitely will be ready for.

All in all; im forever grateful for the army for giving me a purpose and saving my life. God bless to every vet out there, i hope i can live up to yalls legacy.

I joined the Navy, it's the family branch, I joined with an open contract. Wound up going to a Aircraft Carrier in San Diego. Became an Aviation Boatswain Mate, the most intense flight deck operations ever encountered... Loved it. We own the water, it's ours.

The President says Army take that hill, Navy take that ocean, Marines take that beach, Air Force take a break. So, I joined the Air Force 😎
