TRIP REPORT | Perfect Flight to India with SWISS | Zurich to Mumbai | SWISS A340-300

SWISS Trip Report flying from Zurich to Mumbai onboard one of the Swiss A340-300 on a lovely spring day. We started our trip in Vienna, flying to Zurich on the Austrian E195. An amazing flight from Zurich to Mumbai onboard one of the SWISS Airbus A340-300s. The first flight to Zurich exactly during the sunrise was amazing... but the second one was just fabulous. We took off from Zurich towards the south and quickly made a left turn to start our route to India. Initially we flew over all the Alps, still covered with snow. What a beauty they are! Especially on a sunny day like this one! From there we flew towards Serbia and Bulgaria, flying towards the Black Sea. We crossed it and finally reached Turkiye. We crossed it and reached the Zagros Mountains. Although there were many clouds, we still managed to see some of these amazing mountains. We continued southbound over Iraq, until reaching the Persian Gulf. We flew over the UAE, to the east of Dubai, and Oman, just before starting to overfly the Arabian Sea. After a nice night approach, we landed on time in Mumbai. About the onboard service, it seems like SWISS is finally going one step ahead with their service. It started with drinks and some nuts, followed by the main service. 2 hours before landing, a small warm snack was served, together with a small Mango Sorbet; it was not a full second meal as Air India would do... but it was decent.
