  I remember watching this game. I was 13. Looking back I really respect men like Tom Landry and Bud Grant.

  Tommy Kramer, when healthy and sober, was a pretty decent NFL QB.

  Rest in Peace, Doug Martin, #79, who passed away this weekend at the age of 68. &nbsp;Martin was the Vikings&apos; first round draft pick in 1980, and led the league with 11.5 sacks during the strike-shortened, nine-game 1982 season.

  Me and my brother watched this game together as kids and made all kinds of noise..im a Vikings fan and my brother is a cowboys fan. &nbsp;He got an autograph picture of Danny White that year i remember he was so happy. &nbsp;I was more happy that night because the Vikings won 31-27. !!!

  Those long carries by Greg Coleman and Tommy Kramer showed how tough they were and helps explain why they were both fan favorites.

  Howard says the Cowboys can&apos;t turn it on anymore, the Cowboys are on their own 1/2 yard line when Coach Landry tells Danny White &quot;give the ball to Dorsett and tell him to turn it on&quot; and he did! 99 1/2 yards later and he is in the endzone!

  Got Tommy Kramer’s autograph as a kid. &nbsp;Remember he had two women hanging on him at the time. &nbsp;I ask people if they remember him and not many do. &nbsp;Sad.

  Tommy Kramer was a good QB but had it rough. I believe he missed all of 1983 and much of 1984 but came back doing well for 1985.<br>Since I don&apos;t watch the NFL anymore this was a good one to watch on this Sunday morning.
