Man, never in a million years I would've thought Pithing Needle naming Street Wraith would be so back breaking

Needed to gush those islands back to hand in response to wastelanded game 2. It gets countered but you still have at least a chance of casting an oracle.

What a great match. I really can't think of anyone else doing 2-player paper content of this kind of diversity and quality, I hope the workshop keeps putting these out for years to come.

Game 2 toralf could have gushed to save one of his lands and possibly won by casting thoracle

Love seeing vintage content, keep it up please!

@22:00 Because Doomsday is such a complicated card to resolve, It’s always fun to dissect what the best line might’ve been.

Thoralf’s pile was Gush, Ancestral, Fatal Push, Black Lotus, Thassa’s Oracle. This pile plays around flusterstorm and removal, but obviously not around wasteland.

Another pile might be:
Timewalk, Ancestral Recall, Thassa’s Oracle, Black Lotus, Flusterstorm.

This line loses to Flusterstorm + Bowmasters, but plays around Wasteland and Mindbreak Trap, and gives you a chance to win even if your first two cantrips get countered.

Why no sideboard recap this time? I enjoy seeing the sideboarding and the reasoning as it’s one part of the game I struggle with and your explanations help me to improve.
