  Lived there in 1994. I absolutely loved it but, there is something they call Island fever that will drive you crazy. Its when you realize you are in the middle of the ocean with nowhere to run from hurricanes. &nbsp;Most locals suck it up and make it work. I got Island fever after 2 years and felt stuck. At least i got to live out my dream of living on a tropical island. 😊 I will never forgret the great people i met on that little island. I was 40 at the time. Now im 70 and living in the mountains in Spokane WA. Im happy no mater which end of America i live. God bless America and God bless Key West.

  the KW in my username is for KEY WEST. &nbsp;Still watching while typing. &nbsp;Dad moved here in 1974, started fantasy fest in 1977. &nbsp;I spent half my 57 years here. &nbsp;You are doing a great job. &nbsp;I was a train and trolley driver/tour guide for many many years. &nbsp;The chickens eat the bugs and scorpions, we had to check my shoes as a kid for scorpions...then the chickens started eating em in the 90s. &nbsp;damd iguana kept shitting on our cars every morning. &nbsp;You past my house and a few friends houses as well. &nbsp;Looks like they moved the SOUTHERNMOST POINT marker again, they did it a few times.<br>Alot of changes, and yet many things still the same. &nbsp;I have been waiting for this one. &nbsp; Long time fan, started watching you from the start when you documenting the ghettofication of many cities in the USA. &nbsp; Great job both of you.

  Back streets in Key West are the best. Short story, my girlfriend and I rode all the way down from PA. Stay at Swordfish Inn, did Duvall, but I wanted I good steak. We walked all the way up to steakhouse, driving is impossible, to find out steak was $60 (15+yrs ago) , forget that. We walk south, found a little alley bar, walked in and sat at &nbsp;bar. We ordered some beers and oyster special. All eyes were on us...this was a locals only kind of place. They asked us...how did you find this place? We told them we wanted steak, but after we seen the $$$, efff that place. We were just walking back, thru alleys and we seen this place. Why you walking? Cause we rode cycle from Poconos, PA and I hated driving in Key West. Well that sealed it. This was an Eagles fan bar. Had best time ever. Oysters were great and locals were even better. You never find out the true jems, until you hoof it and try something new and unknown.
