I love how the comments section still has a good mix of opinions on whether they love this card, or hate this card. 😎

Way back in 2003-4 I saw something horrific: GeForce 2 MX100. The board was tiny and low profile, and I was amazed that someone crippled already crippled MX200

leadtek mx200 buyer here: played half life, medal of honor, UT, bf1942, red faction, tony hawk 2 and gta3 fairly damn well over 2 systems. originally in a celeron 333 and then later a new athlon xp 1800+ platform to really give it some hips. the aus summer of 2000/2001 was a great time for me. a heck of an upgrade from an original riva 128!!

My first proper GPU was a Geforce 2 MX 32mb. It was built in to my motherboard, with a Athlon XP 2000+ CPU. It could run CS 1.5 at 85 fps. I was flying high back in those days.

Had a Geforce 2 MX 400 which served me well back in the day. Not the most powerful card, but for those of us without masses of money to spend it did it's job well enough. Fond memories gaming on that card.

It was the first graphics card I bought. I remember shouting to my wife while playing Delta Force Land Warrior 'Look, there is grass, come here and look. I had a prebuilt Pentium 3 (1GHz), 256Mb of RAM (expandible to 500Mb), and integrated graphics, which just made grass areas green and deserts sand-coloured. The GeForce 2 MX will always have a place in my heart. Then you mention the GF4, my second graphics card, which was a bit of a disappointment.

back in the day, coming from a TNT2 - the Geforce 2 MX ( not a 200 or 400, just MX back then.. one model ) was a HUGE upgrade - all the features of the GF2 GTS, with a little bit less memory bandwidth.. so as long as you kept resolution a little lower, it was a beast.

I used a Geforce MX 400 back in 2000 to play Quake 3 online over a 56k modem. Good times.
