I use to be an Anne Boleyn fan but after reading about Katherine of Aragon I prefer her. Her life was very interesting and she deserves way more historical dramas focused on her.

I've seen Kate, Owen, and Suzannah discuss Anne's book of hours a hundred times but hearing that Catherine owned the exact same one and then seeing them in the same room for the first time in 500+ years was so fascinating! I love that it was the women who kept these treasures safe.<br><br>Also, I never realized how well fuschia and navy blue go together until I saw Dr. Lipscomb in that powder room! 😂

Catherine of Aragon was the daughter of THE Isabela of Castile. If anything, she had a more superior claim to the throne of England than Henry’s line ever had. The common people also greatly loved her and hated Anne.

Anne Boleyn destroyed Thomas More, Thomas Wolsey and made Catherine of Aragon's final years a misery while cruelly abusing Princess Mary. She was guilty but not necessarily as charged.

People may have been sentimental with the books, but books were extremely rare and expensive at the time. It would have been foolish to throw away or destroy a book, so of course someone would save it.

One of the things I think people forget is that both cathrine and anne have in common is they both had to wait a long time to marry Henry they both loved him and struggled to marry him.
