  I hate to break it to you. If America gave black Americans their own state, you&apos;ll be living in a place full of violence and corruption the likes you&apos;ve never seen. Imagine a large Chicago, imagine it. That&apos;s what you would have.<br>It&apos;s sad to say.

  Langston, I&apos;ve silently watched your videos for years. I remember when you were encouraging folks in NYC to move to Charlotte because it was, in your opinion, a much better lifestyle. Now I&apos;m going to give you some unsolicited advice because I can both see and sense your frustration. I think you should move back to the US. Find somewhere nice, relatively safe and affordable in either North Carolina or in another state. Find a job you can tolerate or start a business of your own. I&apos;ve come to learn it&apos;s not the place that you&apos;re running from, it&apos;s your circumstances. I sincerely wish you and your family all the best and many blessings.

  Yeah, I learned a long time ago to stop looking to YouTube for real, concrete life-sustaining info because YouTube and YouTubers are in the business of &quot;selling you a dream!&quot; And that&apos;s in any genre. living abroad vs. living at home in the States, becoming a full time YTber versus a regular 9-5 with a steady paycheck, going vegan versus eating meat, and the list goes on....you gotta look at both sides and then do you!

  Left Costa Rica in 3 months. Everything I tried to escape in the US, was there. Pollution, crazy traffic, racism, high prices, safety issues, developing, bad roads, lots of construction, old furniture &amp; trash on the side of the roads. Vacationing is totally different than living.

  My people are from Nevis. I just realized that if you&apos;re not happy/ grateful you won&apos;t find happiness anywhere you go. There are pros and cons to any and everything. Just be grateful.
